Technology Transfer Office has many years of experience in the field of implementation of various projects regarding both the development of technology and knowledge transfer and sharing this experience and other related activities. The projects in which TTO acts either as a chief investigator or as a collaborative entity help to improve the internal environment at Masaryk University and advance the professional standard of TTO.

Projects under implementation

The project improves and enhances the existing university-wide system of technology transfer. With a view to the current needs of Masaryk University, it increases the efficiency of the transfer of knowledge and R&D results into practice and strengthens the cooperation with the industry.

Advancement of the System of Commercialization of R&D Results at Masaryk University II.

The project’s objective is to support commercial application of promising R&D results from Masaryk University which is carried out through an effective use of a transparent and sustainable system of commercialization of results (Proof of Concept).

Innovative air purification technology combining plasma enhancement and biological processes

The project falls within the OP Enterprise and Innovation for Competitiveness; MU cooperates on its implementation with the company Dekonta a. s.

The project's objective is to improve the collaboration between universities and the private sphere in Georgia and Kyrgyzstan and strengthen the role of the local universities as active institutions contributing to the social and economic development of the country.

The goal of this project is to contribute to greater efficiency of research and innovation management of universities in Southeast Asia; this is to be achieved by means of building and increasing the capacities for intellectual property management.

PERSEUS: Technology transfer development project with aim to Plan to Establish Research-Science-Enterprise oriented Universities for the benefit of Society oriented to central Asian states leaded by University of Santiago de Compostela (TEMPUS, 2009 – 2012)

SynBIOsys: Project aimed to Maximizing Synergies for Central European Biotech Research Infrastructures leaded by South Moravian Innovation Centre in Brno (EU, 7. RP 2009 - 2012)

EfTrans: Effective Knowledge Transfer – (MEYS, OP Education for Competitiveness 2011 – 2013) – a member of the expert team assessing methodologies for effective implementation of technology transfer in the Czech Republic.
