Ninety-nine partners and 100 years. On the occasion of its 100th anniversary, Masaryk University decided to express gratitude to the institutions and companies that have been important partners to it. The award ceremony was held on 13 June during a garden party that took place in the garth of St. Thomas’s Abbey in Stare Brno. It was attended by three hundred guests.
The individual faculties and offices chose the awardees based on their contributions in the field of education, science and research and their social relevance. On the list of 99 medallists, there were also several institutes of the Czech Academy of Sciences, which often cooperate with the university on research projects in various fields. There was also a number of other institutions such as archives, museums, libraries, galleries or public service media. The Technology Transfer Office has also added its most distinguished partners to the list.
