Biotech spin-off Enantis was granted 30 million CZK to develop wound healing products. The prestigious SME Instrument grant, which is granted only to about five percent of applicants across the EU, will help the company with applied research, which could end up with products of heavily healing wounds such as burns or diabetes.
Enantis Ltd. was founded in 2006 as the first spin-off at Masaryk University. The MU has concluded a cooperation agreement with the company and a license agreement on IP. The company improves the properties of proteins for biomedical and environmental applications by protein engineering methods.
