Examples of applied research from all nine faculties together with other departments of Masaryk University. Presentation of scientific teams and expert discussion on spin-offs and cooperation with the university. Almost three hundred participants. This was the Business Research Forum 2017 in a nutshell.
The largest event showing R&D outcomes from MU presented a wide range of possibile ways of cooperation with the largest university in South Moravia. Almost half of the participants were external visitors from companies, public administrations, other research and educational institutions or interest unions.

The event was held under the auspices of the Deputy Prime Minister for Science, Research and Innovation, Pavel Bělobrádek, the Governor of the South Moravian Region, Bohumil Šimek, the Lord Mayor of the Statutory City of Brno, Petr Vokřál, and the Confederation of
Industry. The event was co-financed by EU from the Operational Programme Research, Development and Education.

At the end of January, a total of 34 teams from nine faculties of Masaryk University, ranging from undergraduate students to teams composed of Ph.D. students, registered for the 4th year of Masaryk University's Start Your Business student competition.
