Sharing experiences from the field of IP management and technology transfer was the primary objective of a Southeast Asia delegation visit. Twenty university staff from Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand and the Philippines arrived to Brno last week for a study visit under the SPIRE project, which also involved TTO Masaryk University. Within two days they had a chance to discuss, but also to explore our innovative and research infrastructure. The Faculty of Sports Studies presented its successful cooperation on the development of footwear, Ceitec MU provided a tour of shared laboratories that are also available to commercial partners, and the South Moravian Innovation Center and the FabLab where the last but not least to visit.
The TTO deputy then went on to another project meeting where MU could draw inspiration: to Italian University of Bologna.
