The CEITEC trademark is now valid throughout Europe

On November 18th, Masaryk University enrolled EU trademark "CEITEC". Until then, only CEITEC's logo was protected in Europe. Trademarks serve customers for easier market orientation, specifically enabling them to distinguish the products and services of one provider from the products and services of another entity.
