6 Jun 2023 Masaryk University's leukaemia drug receives US patent The team of associate professor Marek Mráz from Masaryk University and Brno University Hospital has been granted a US patent for the use of GAB1 inhibitors in the treatment of hematological malignancies. The US patent application was filed in 2020 and from that moment on, our team at the MU Technology Transfer Office worked on the patent.
30 May 2023 University has 22nd spin-off focuses on mental health The latest company to join the Masaryk University spin-off family, number 22, is MilkyWay be well, s.r.o., the first ever spin-off from the MU Faculty of Medicine. Through the MyWay analytix tool, it brings a unique eHealth solution for measuring the level of mental health in organizations and early detection of threats.
23 May 2023 The 21st spin-off is a company from the Faculty of Arts EVE Technologies, s.r.o., which was founded at the Faculty of Arts of Masaryk University, focuses on the development of tools for language learning and works on connecting linguistics and artificial intelligence in its applications.

31 Jan 2023 TTO helped transfer intellectual property to move its successful infertility solution into practice TTO coordinated the cross-border cooperation between four parties - three universities and one start-up - which brought Masaryk University significant success in the field of technology transfer. A contract worth 441,000 euros will enable the commercialization of a new technology that significantly increases the success rate of artificial insemination. Ondřej Slabý from the CEITEC MU research group contributed to the success as a scientist.
